Lantern is a virtual SMS service that sends text nudges about parenting practices and child development to subscribed parents and caregivers. The Hoke County Partnership for Children and Families will send regular community resource messages with links to further information for parents and caregivers to access. SMS Messages are sent 2-4 times a week, personalized to the child’s age. Each text nudge is designed to equip families with essential information to promote their child’s healthy development through the most pivotal early stages of life. It seeks to enhance parent/caregiver confidence, competence, and connection.
