Professional Development
High-quality child care relies on strong programs, safe facilities, and educated professionals. The child care professional has an enormous involvement in a child’s well-being and development. Their knowledge and skills, or lack thereof, influence a child’s readiness to enter school prepared. Professionals need support and assistance to develop skills and improve their knowledge.
It’s difficult to navigate higher education when you’re working full-time. The Hoke County Partnership for Children and Families works closely with Sandhills Community College to help child care professionals advance their education.
Training in nine required topics is offered through the Partnership, and by our regional partners. Find a training calendar here, or call us at 910-848-2301 for more information.
